This Privacy Policy describes how information is processed when you use the bomond: People & Stories mobile application (the «Application»), which is associated with the persono.ru online resource.

The operator of the Application is Individual Entrepreneur Nikita Sergeevich Lobanov (TIN 027305935406, OGRNIP 318028000163208), acting under the laws of the Russian Federation (hereinafter «bomond», «we»).

We aim to collect only the information necessary to operate the Application, to keep it secure and to deliver editorial content to the user.

1. Information we process

The current version of the Application does not require user registration. We do not ask the user to provide a name, telephone number, email address or any other registration details in order to use the core features of the Application.

To load materials, the Application connects to the persono.ru servers. During such requests the server infrastructure may automatically receive standard technical information necessary to transmit data and to keep the service secure, including:

• IP address;
• the date and time of the request;
• the address of the requested resource;
• device type, operating system or User-Agent, where such information is transmitted by a standard network request;
• the technical status of the request.

This information is used to operate the service, diagnose errors, prevent abuse and protect the infrastructure.

2. Data stored on your device

In version 1.0, part of the user's settings and actions is stored directly on the user's device. This may include:

• saved materials;
• followed persons;
• reading history;
• the read state of materials and notifications;
• interface and application settings.

This information exists so that the Application's features work on that particular device and, in the current version, is not used to build an advertising profile of the user.

Because this data is not synchronised with our servers, deleting the Application from the device also deletes the locally stored information in accordance with the mechanisms provided by iOS.

3. Data the Application does not collect

The current version of the Application is not designed to collect:

• the user's contacts;
• the contents of the address book;
• photographs or videos from the user's media library;
• camera data;
• audio recordings from the microphone;
• precise location;
• payment details;
• medical data;
• health and fitness data;
• the advertising identifier for the purpose of tracking the user across services.

The Application does not operate its own personalised advertising system and does not build an advertising profile of the user.

4. Analytics and tracking

The current version of the Application does not use third-party advertising or user-tracking SDKs that would track the user across other companies' apps and websites.

We do not sell users' personal data to advertisers.

If the analytics or data-processing tools used in future versions change, this Policy and the App Privacy details in the App Store will be updated accordingly.

5. Delivery of editorial content

The Application retrieves articles, news, interviews, biographies, rankings, person profiles, images and other editorial content through the persono.ru infrastructure. Delivering this content to the user requires an ordinary network connection to the service's servers.

The mere fact that a material has been loaded is not used by the Application to build an advertising profile of the user.

The read-aloud feature uses the speech synthesis facilities built into the device's operating system. The text is processed by the iOS system mechanisms on the device itself; the Application does not create a separate recording and does not transmit the spoken content to us as personal data in its own right.

6. Third-party services and external links

Some materials may contain links to third-party websites, social networks or other external services. Such a link is followed only as a result of an action by the user.

Once the user has followed the link, information may be processed by that third-party service in accordance with its own privacy policy. bomond does not control how independent external services process data.

Infrastructure providers required to operate the website and servers may technically process network information solely to the extent necessary to provide those services.

7. Disclosure to third parties

We do not sell users' personal data.

Information may be provided to technical infrastructure providers only to the extent necessary for the service to function, or where such disclosure is required by applicable law.

We expect the infrastructure providers we use to apply appropriate information protection measures.

8. Retention

Local user data is stored on the user's device until the user deletes it, clears the relevant data, or removes the Application.

Technical web-server logs are rotated daily and are kept for a limited period: as at the date of publication of this Policy, the archive of access logs and error logs covers approximately one week. The exact retention depth is determined by the server infrastructure settings and may vary within the range reasonably required for security, diagnostics and stable operation of the service.

We do not retain information for longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it was obtained, unless a longer period is required by law.

9. Deletion of data and user rights

Because the current version of the Application does not require a user account, most user settings are stored locally. The user may delete local data using the features available in the Application, or remove the Application from the device.

For questions about information that may have been processed by the server infrastructure, the user may contact us at admin@persono.ru.

Please include enough information for us to understand and act on the request, but do not send passwords or other confidential data.

10. Security

We apply reasonable organisational and technical measures to protect information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction.

Data is transmitted between the Application and the persono.ru infrastructure over secure HTTPS connections.

No method of storing or transmitting information can guarantee absolute security; however, we take measures appropriate to the nature of the information processed.

11. Children

The Application is not specifically directed at collecting children's personal data.

We do not knowingly ask children to create a user profile or to provide personal data in order to access the core editorial functionality of the Application.

12. Changes to this Policy

The functionality of the Application may develop over time. Where the ways in which user information is processed change materially, this Policy will be updated.

The current version is always published at https://persono.ru/privacy-app/. The date of the latest change is shown at the top of the document.
